Council of Orthodox Christian Churches announces annual Benefit Concert, Oct. 23

DETROIT, MI [COCC] -- The Orthodox Choir of Metropolitan Detroit, under the auspices of the Council of Orthodox Christian Churches (COCC), will hold its annual Benefit Concert "The Lord Be With You" on Sunday, October 23 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral located at 4575 Outer Drive East (off Van Dyke just South of 8 Mile Road) in Detroit, MI.

The Orthodox Choir of Detroit, under the directorship of Matushka Victoria Kopistiansky, consists of volunteer singers from various Orthodox Christian parishes in Michigan.  The program will feature Orthodox liturgical music representing a variety of traditions.
