Local Orthodox women's group to celebrate 25 years
SOUTHFIELD, MI [OCW] -- Orthodox Christian Women (OCW) invites everyone to its 25th Anniversary Luncheon which will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral Cultural Center, 18405 West Nine Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan 48075.
The special guest presenter at the event will be Presvytera Helen Karamanos, a noted speaker and educator with years of experience in the area of religious education of the family. The topic of her presentation will be: “What is an Ideal Woman?”
The cost is $25 for OCW Members and $30 for Non-members. All are welcome (women, men, teens).
Registration is required. Please Respond no later than Sunday, January 28.
Founded in February 1993, the Orthodox Christian Women of Michigan (OCW) is an organization of women from the various jurisdictions of Canonical Orthodox parishes in Metropolitan Detroit. Its purposes are educational, spiritual and charitable. All women who are members of Orthodox Christian parishes in Metropolitan Detroit are invited to become supporting members and participate in the organization's activities as best as they are able.
